Not Design is a collaborative studio for creatives focusing on projects that step outside the boundaries of traditional design. This work looks to explore needs in educational, community, and informational structures and to solve them by thinking about the problem from a different vantage point. The need to engage audiences with information that can effect change is an ever-pressing challenge that we intend to address.
Our first project is a documentary film following a group of design students and their experience on a road trip focused on typography, both historical and contemporary. Current studio work is focused on Letterpress process and the interaction of content and context.
